Why We Designed This:This design represents the Aztec God "Mictlantecuhtli" - or the god of the underworld. Despite his fearsome appearance, Mictlantecuhtli embodies a deeper symbolism; he represents the cyclical nature of life and death, reminding us of the inherent connection between the mortal realm and the spiritual realm. In our PROJECT 002 collection, we honor Mictlantecuhtli as a reminder to embrace the transient nature of existence, find strength in adversity, and live each day to its fullest, motivated by the awareness of our mortality.
